Service Start Dates and Service Change Dates: For each different type of service you have completed, enter a start and change date. The change date is the date you finished one type of service and started another type of service. You need to include any service breaks as well. If you are currently serving, enter today's date as your final Service Change Date.
For example: Permanent 1 July 2002 to 30 June 2005, Reserves: 1 July 2006 to 1 July 2008.
Important
The Eligibility Calculator can only provide you with an estimate of your eligibility and entitlement for DHOAS. It does not recognise a range of variations in ADF service history or individual circumstances which may impact on your entitlement under DHOAS.
Also, the calculator does not subtract from your DHOAS entitlement the period of time that you have previously accessed other Defence home loan subsidy schemes. How long you can receive DHOAS will be reduced by previous access to Defence HomeOwner Scheme (DHOS) or Defence Service Homes (DSH) subsidies.
