Cyclone Alfred impact on DHOAS Contact Centre
The DHOAS Contact Centre is located in South East Queensland.
Due to the impact of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, the office will be closed on Monday 10th March.
Our staff will be working remotely to support the veteran and ADF community whilst the office is closed. This support may be impacted in the event of power outages and by ongoing weather conditions. If you are unable to reach us on our contact number 1300 434 627, you can still send us an email at dhoas@dva.gov.au and we will endeavour to get back to you, as soon as we are able to do so.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time.
Clients can still use the DHOAS website to access eligibility and entitlement information, fact sheets and forms.
For impacted members who hold a DHOAS home loan, further assistance may be available from your home loan provider. Further information can be found at the following links:
Veterans and their families requiring emergency counselling support can call Open Arms on 1800 011 046.
There is additional support available for current and ex-serving ADF members on the Defence Health and Well-being page.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 000.
