Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

There is a currently an active outbreak across the world of a novel coronavirus (COVID-19).  The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 a pandemic.

The Australian Government and, in turn, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs are taking this issue seriously and have activated all necessary precautions and procedures.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may experience an increase in call-wait times if you are trying to contact the DHOAS Customer Service Team by phone.

Alternatively, please email the DHOAS Customer Service team at dhoas@dva.gov.au.  We will endeavour to respond to your email as quickly as possible.

If you would prefer to speak over the phone, please advise this in your email, provide your best contact number and a DHOAS customer service team member will phone you as soon as possible.

If you have been impacted by COVID-19 and are suffering financial hardship, assistance may be available from your home loan provider.  Please see the links below for contact details
